Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with DutchShop.hk. This Shipping Policy describes how we process, ship, and make available orders placed through our online store.

By placing an order with DutchShop.hk, you agree to the terms set out in this Shipping Policy.

1. Shipping Destination

We currently accept and fulfill orders within Hong Kong. Other jurisdictions would be upon special request only.

2. Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.

  • Orders placed before 3:00 PM (Hong Kong time) on a business day are generally processed on the same day

  • Orders placed after 3:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays will generally be processed on the next business day

All processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Processing may be delayed in the event of high order volume, stock availability issues, or other operational reasons.

3. Shipping Methods

3.1 SF Express Delivery

We offer local delivery within Hong Kong via SF Express.

  • Shipping fee: HK$65 flat rate per order

  • Estimated delivery time: within 2 business days after dispatch

  • Tracking: An SF tracking number will be provided once the order has been shipped, where applicable

Delivery times are estimates only and begin after the order has been processed and dispatched. Actual delivery times may vary depending on location, courier service conditions, weather, and other external factors beyond our control.

3.2 Self Pickup

Customers may choose to collect their order by self pickup at the following location:

Pickup hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
(excluding public holidays)

  • Self pickup orders are generally ready within 1 hour during business hours

  • Customers will receive a notification once the order is ready for collection

  • At the time of pickup, customers may be required to provide:

    • Order number

    • Customer name

    • Order confirmation email

4. Pickup Holding Period

Orders selected for self pickup will be held for up to 1 month from the date the pickup notification is sent.

If an order is not collected within this period, DutchShop.hk reserves the right to cancel the order, restock the items, and issue any refund in accordance with our applicable refund or cancellation policy, if any.

5. Delivery Delays and Exceptions

While we aim to meet the estimated processing and delivery timeframes, delays may occur due to circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Deliveries to remote areas

  • Out-of-stock items

  • Pre-order items

  • Courier service delays or disruptions

  • Severe weather conditions, including typhoons and rainstorms

  • Public holidays

  • Peak sales or promotional periods

DutchShop.hk shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or events outside our reasonable control.

6. Pre-Orders and Out-of-Stock Items

If an item is listed as a pre-order or is temporarily out of stock, fulfillment may take longer than the standard processing or delivery timeframe stated above.

If an order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, DutchShop.hk reserves the right to hold the order until all items are available, unless otherwise stated or arranged.

7. Failed Delivery and Incorrect Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping and contact information at checkout.

DutchShop.hk is not responsible for failed deliveries, delays, losses, or additional charges arising from:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information

  • Unavailable recipients

  • Refused deliveries

  • Failure to respond to courier contact attempts

If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery or incorrect information, we reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee for re-dispatch.

8. Shipping Notifications and Tracking

We use the Shopify platform to send automated notifications relating to order confirmation, shipping updates, and pickup readiness.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their email address, phone number, and other contact details are entered correctly at checkout.

For SF Express deliveries, tracking information will be provided once available.

9. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your order is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at info@dutchshop.hk or +852 9577 7749.

Where delivery is handled by a third-party courier, any investigation or claim relating to loss or damage may be subject to that courier’s procedures and timelines. DutchShop.hk will reasonably assist customers in such cases but does not guarantee claim outcomes determined by the courier.

10. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are charged at the time of checkout and are generally non-refundable once an order has been processed or shipped, except where required by law or where we determine otherwise at our sole discretion.

11. Policy Changes

DutchShop.hk reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice.

Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on this page. Customers are encouraged to review this Shipping Policy periodically before placing an order.
